NOTE: These are from a collection that used to belong to a radio station. Any single that has a photo where it shows the full cover with the single peeking out the side, means that despite the cover detailing the b-side being some other track, it doesn’t exist. Those singles used the standard commercial cover, but they were specially printed promo-only singles that only included the single with no b-side. So the cover will say on the back that it has a b-side, but please be aware that it is not on the record. That’s just another cool thing about these promo records.
CONDITION: I will conservatively grade these all VG/VG+. None of them are all scratched up. The early ones were most likely actively used, played on the radio for the people of Atlanta, Georgia to enjoy. But the ones in the 80’s and beyond (I’m just guessing) didn’t get much play if ever because by that time radio stations were playing CDs. It is common for record companies to ship the outdated format to radio for years beyond when it is needed. During the end of my radio career in 2012, it was commonplace for record companies to still mail CD singles of songs even though the standard had moved to digital delivery of the files. Ah, good ol’ record companies. They were always so insightful and tuned in to the current technology.
My priority is to look for trades to build my collection of vinyl LPs. If we can’t connect on a trade, I will consider selling these. I will base my price off the fair market value price by analyzing the sold listings from sites like eBay, eBid, discogs, etc. I’m not trying to rip anybody off, just liberate some cool singles to some collectors and in the process expand my rock album collection. Please use the contact form of this website to contact me and make sure you include your email address and phone number in your message so we can discuss a trade.
Here are the kind of artists I’m looking for: Rush, The Doors, Soundgarden, 311, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Lenny Kravitz, Dire Straits, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica (just The Black Album), The Beatles (just the White Album is what I need), Steely Dan (I only need Can’t Buy A Thrill and Fagen’s The Nightfly), All Beastie Boys, Live “Throwing Copper”, Rage Against The Machine, Jellyfish “Spilt Milk”, Edie Brickell “Ghost of a Dog”, Billy Joel “52nd St.”, “Souvenir”, “The Stranger”, “turnstiles”, “Streetlife Serenade”, “Piano Man”, “Cold Spring Harbor”, Def Leppard “High N’ Dry”, “Pyromania”, “Adrenalize”, ZZ Top “Tres Hombres”, “Fandango!”, “Deguello”, “El Loco”, “Eliminator”, RHCP “Blood Sugar Sex Magick”, and many more. Please – suggest something! I like a lot of stuff!

- Despite what the cover says, this only has the single on both sides. There is no b-side, though this promo radio single uses the commercial cover that lists what would be the b-side.

- I love the ELO singles… very cool colored vinyl.

- This Earth, Wind & Fire – Let’s Groove test pressing 45 has water damage to the sleeve and the label on the back. It does not affect playback though.
- The back of the E,W &F “Let’s Groove” single (water damaged).
- Though it is a plain label, it is not a test pressing. It is a radio promo, made to look kinda simple like a test pressing/white label.
